I’ve been a part of many books in the 17 years I’ve been working in academe - I’m proud of them all and some I think have made a real contribution to making schools and universities better for people who work and learn in them.  But this book is surely one of the most important.  My role was incredibly minor (series editor) but the editors and authors in this book have done something special and important.  If this makes it into the hands of that one educator at the time they need it, it will have been the best book I’ve had the honor of being associated with.
